Hi, I'm going to view a couple of x3s tomorrow (for her) is there anything to watch for, no air sus, both manual so no auto issues, both 2.0ds but if bought swirlflaps will be removed straight away there both 05 models, thanks

Sorry cant help with any specific advice so it's a cae ofd checking everything as with any used car. The prefacelift cars where criticised for suspension and ride so I would drive sport and non sport models before deciding. Black examples look less dated as facelift brought colour coded bumpers.

didnt go he sold it and the 2 were 300 miles away and 360 so we thaught a little far to go to see just one and the preffered one was the one that sold, so if anyone has a cheap 20d x3 sport for sale give me a shout!

If you're still looking then watch for tyres. If it's got staggered wheels the tyres must be star marked (OEM spec) or you run the risk of 'winding up' the transfer box as the front and rears will be travelling at different speeds.
