Possible replacement early next year..

Post by Themoog2 » Sun Nov 25, 2018 10:42 pm

I think I may change the X5 4.4 after 3 years... Probably around march 2019. I've been scouring the ebay and auto trader ads for alternatives and so far this is what the options are-
Newer X5 - probably a 4.8
VW touareg - 4.2 V8
Range Rover L322 V8
Maybe a Cayenne but I had one of those before.
The other 3 I have never driven so I have my work cut out to get some test drives in.
What do you reckon chaps?
By the way I had to re register so my username is slightly different..

While a Range Rover isa nice car, they’re not very reliable and the dealers are shite.

Well we have a Range Rover sport supercharged which is ok. Luckily it runs on lpg or the fuel consumption is too bad.
What is an E53 4.8 like on fuel - mine does about 19mpg which I can live with.
