uphill judders

After my car has warmed up it occasionally judders while going uphill.

Also the rev counters bounces around about the 40-50mph speed.

What could be causing this?

My money would be on the TC. Check the gb oil level and temperature.

When i had a similar problem on my 320d i confirmed it by using some of this.
The box was very smooth after adding it so i went ahead and had the torque converter changed.
