TPMS

Post by henrym3 » Tue Jan 15, 2019 3:22 pm

Have people still got a working TPMS on their E53’s, still reliable. I’ve found some sensors just can’t quite make up my mind. Obviously got to make a decision as new tyres are on the way

Be interested to know where you got the sensors, mine has had 2 replaced and the other 2 I think have flat battery’s, I was in 2 minds whether or not to code out the tyre control or fix it but the sensors were a bit pricey from bmw.

4 TPMS/RDKS Sensor for BMW X5 Type E53 October 1999 to September 2006 Programmed with Aluminium Valve Item No. 47250 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FNQ27V5/ ... pCbQPVYPWZ
There you go, about £32 each, I sent them a message asking a few questions but you take the answers with a pinch of salt, they aren’t going to say they’re crap. They assured me they are programmed for the E53.

Thanks Henry, might give it a go for that price, I never use amazon for some reason so never thought to look there!
