Interior change..

Post by Themoog2 » Fri Jan 25, 2019 8:02 pm

I’ve been looking at getting another X5 for a while but as yet I have failed to find anything in as good condition as mine. Anyway, today a friend of mine who trades cars mentioned that he has a red leather interior from an E53. I remembered seeing the car running but apparently it’s been broken up. Electric sport seats / door cards etc.
I shall not disclose the price but it’s cheap - what do you reckon- silver paint with red interior..? Mine is black leather at the moment. Red is a bit 80’s I think. Nice.. certainly unique.
Bit of a spring project.?

Is there something wrong with yours, marked, badly worn?? As you asked for opinions, it wouldn’t be my cup of tea.

No nothing wrong with mine. It was just a thought. Mine has the comfort option and the red stuff is sport. I don't think I'll bother..

Forgive my ignorance but what’s the difference between the two

A red interior looks awesome in certain cars, but, in my opinion, not these.

Comfort seats are fully electric inc head rests and even the shoulder part but don’t have such pronounced side bolsters as sport seats.
