Interior trim wrap

Post by Themoog2 » Sat Apr 20, 2019 5:41 pm

So this morning with a thick head I thought I would take off the silver trim bits and wrap them with a subtle matt carbon film just for a change.
Can someone explain why tiddly little bits of plastic have to be clamped to door panels etc with really strong clamps?.. Talk about over engineering
On a positive note it looks so much better in black. All I need to do next is remove the centre console so I can wrap that.. Easy. Aledgedly.

Good luck with the centre console. I did all my E53 except the console as it appeared to be a right b*gger to remove.

I wrapped my centre console some years ago and Ian is right, a right bugger to remove and an even bigger bugger to wrap. Glad I bought enough to have more than one go at it.

Due to suspected agro in removing the centre console I may leave it as it is but you never know..
