Evening chaps.
I’ve just picked myself up a pair of 4.8is exhausts (from centre box backwards) and found out that the pipes are different diameter sizes. I guess I should have posted on here before going charging in.
I’m sure plenty of you have done this to yours. How did you get them to fit? Did you buy the 4.8is centre section too? Or would I have the same problem further forward? Or do get them cut and welded about to get them to fit? Typically I’ve got my MOT on Friday and a knackered exhaust. I thought I’d be smart and upgrade at the same time. I should have known better really
Can anyone shed any light please?
Thanks.

The 4.4 flanges need to cut off the old pipes as do the 4.8 flanges. Then the 4.4's have to welded to the 4.8 pipes with a small pipe extension welded in as 4.8's are shorter. If you see what I mean..

Off the exhausts or off the back of the centre section?

Of the back of the centre section
