Beast 2.0 Modding
Re: Beast 2.0 Modding
Well have been thinking of PPF to protect the front end but generally it won't be doing that much mileage as my wife only uses it for work mostly which is a couple of miles each way.sapphireblack wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 12:04 pm Wrap it in cotton wool and just look at it, too good to use.
BTW, is this the car that was advertised here F S?
Yes it is but I got in touch with him through M3Cutters.

Looking good indeed, a pity the weather is such at this time of year. But looking forward to seeing the car re built, shiny and pristine
Re: Beast 2.0 Modding
Thanks Lez. Am pleased with how the paint has come out. Colour match is spot on.
Re: Beast 2.0 Modding
Yeah I have finally put it all back together but as you say it hasn't stopped raining now so can't get it cleaned properly and fitted pics lolsapphireblack wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:20 am Looking good indeed, a pity the weather is such at this time of year. Those headlights need a refurb too.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
Re: Beast 2.0 Modding
So finally all done and huge thanks to John@Bespoke Leathering.
Absolutely knocked it out the park with the job done and colour.
Hard to see it properly in these pics but went with BMW Opal White.
The contrast is stunning against the LeMans Blue.
Last bit now as goes into Ryan@Ryandetails for the little PPF and ceramic coating.

Brave colour choice but sharp for sure. Never wear denim tho!
The car must owe you more than its worth, but what fun to own something basically unique.

Re: Beast 2.0 Modding
The whole car looks factory fresh now must be one of the best e53's about
Re: Beast 2.0 Modding
Yeah agree it is brave but I’ve gone down the route of sod it, enjoy it, redo it .... if it needs it in a few years time. But I’ll keep on top of it so shouldn’t be too bad.sapphireblack wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 10:38 am Brave colour choice but sharp for sure. Never wear denim tho!

Well as always it’s not cost as much as you’d think due to having a lot of friends/contacts built up over many many years. But tbh it’s irrelevant as you say it’s unique to us and we’ll never likely sell this one due to the mileage and condition so will always be ours to enjoy.
