Spare wheel

Post by Murphybarnes » Sun Jan 17, 2021 5:14 pm

So I got a puncture and stuck the spacesaver on. 17" as opposed to 20" on the other 3. Probably be a few days until I can get a replacement. I'm guessing this will be okay regards DSC and gearing etc. Just wondering.

It’s fine for a few days. You are limited to a max speed of 50mph though because of the size difference. The diameter of the complete wheel&tyre should be the same as the 20”.

As above but why don't you get a kit and plug it yourself.
Very cheap and easy to use.
This is the one i have but you might get one local.

I had one of those plugs in for the last 5k of life of previous set of tyres and never lost a lb of air. Very impressed.
