Replacement car mats

Post by shocks » Sun Aug 29, 2010 11:49 am

Looking for some advice here, been trawling around various car mat sites looking for replacement mats for the x5, they all seem to be either carpet or really cheap looking rubber, ones i have in mine are the original rubber ones and quite sturdy. Anyone got a source or link to a decent replacement they have used ?

Cheers

To be honest, I would stick with OEM. I think a full set is about £50 as I see them advertised in the BMW magazine. The OEM sets lasts so well that I would not deviate from them.

I bought a set of these from Ebay;

They fit and seem OK.

Tbh the full rubber ebay ones linked dont look bad.

As testoimonial seen here re fit & selling at £24.99 delivered they seem a bargain.

I might even consider a set to give my OE rubber backed carpet mats a rest for the winter.

Pvr - Is the price you mentioned for carepeted rubber backed or full rubber factory, ( winter), mats ?

Reason for querying is I had thought that the BMW full rubber mats were circa £80 a set.
