3 'beeps' from car while driving

Post by MartyVFR » Mon Sep 13, 2010 8:31 pm

Hi,
So i'm new on here so be gentle!
Had a 2006 3.0d Sport for a couple weeks now. It has satnav & comms pack (bluetooth).

Anyway my question is - when i'm driving i occasionally get 3 beeps from the car, thinking about when i hear this could it be an alarm for cameras (red light &/or speed)?
Can't find anything in the handbook so any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And yes, i've posted a hello in the newbies section.
Cheers,
Marty.

Bollox!!!
I knew it was gonna be a simple one, but didn't expect that.
I must be at the same crossroads every day on the hour! & those lights have a camera.
When it beeped at the wife (at the same crossroads) she thought it was the car telling her she was cornering too fast!! I didn't ask how fast she was going!!!

Quick typing guys.

Cheers,
Marty.

Happened to me a while ago and I also thought omigod how much is this going to be.......and luckily this clever crew on here told me where the beeping clock setting was :D felt a bit stupid afterwards but very pleased it didn't cost anything!!!!! :D

Ha ha,
maybe we've not got as much confidence in the 'reliability' of our BM's as we should have.
Hear a beep - 'bugger, summat must be broken!'.
Cheers,
Marty.

Or you have the speed limit set at something low, say 100 mph, and you exceed that regularly :D
