E53 SatNav disks

Can I request all members to not discuss alternate sources of BMW SatNav disks for the E53 due to legality reasons please? Ultimately, the Admin team is responsible for the posted content of this site and we could leave ourselves open to a possible legal situation if we allowed free and open discussions of these alternate disks.

Thanks.

Is there a "best place" to get a good priced Genuine OEM sat data disk, as mine is 2004, bland & out of date...
Guessing some dealers have better prices than others ???

You'll likely only find a small difference in the £200 price the stealers charge!

Is Norway not included in the Europe 'High' DVD?

The Mark4 system is still being updated.  Dealer quoted me £185 a couple of weeks back for our E46.  You do need to have the latest firmware though as it's a dual layer disc now.

Correct.  Nothing for the E53 after V32.  After that the system changed to a MOST type and has a different update system.

For the E53 - Go into the Menu and select 'Set'.  You need to note the version number at the top of the screen which starts 4-1/nnn.  The important numbers are the 'nnn'.  If you have '100' then that is the last version issued.  It's actually V31 as V32 made no changes to the Mk4 Navcomp.

Got mine online...2016 update apparently..was very pleased and it allowed the screen to be turned off properly, not left glowing at night as it was before...very pleased! It also knows where my house built in 2008 is!

Does anyone know anything more about this?
I thought the last update was v31/v32 ?
Was there another update in 2016?
Could someone post a screenshot of the 2016 version displayed,
or indicated on the nav screen please?

V32 is the latest (and last at a guess), as X5Sport mentioned the V32 didn't change anything for the e53.

I ditched my head unit a while back so I cant help with the piccy of the screen, as for updates I don't know for sure if BMW still update the discs, but I cant see why they don't as roads are forever changing
