New 40d owner. I'd like more power please

Post by Simond S » Sun Jan 22, 2012 9:08 pm

I received my 40d this week. A bit of an impulse purchase as I was in the dealership looking ofr a 1 series for the other half. X6 took my eye so we now have matching cars :)

I'd like to get it mapped. I have seen a few reports of X5's being mappped, but is the X6 the same?

Apologies for my lack of knowledge, this is all a bit new to me :0

Welcome fellow 6'er.

Unless she's more than 3 years old I'd personally not risk blowing my BMW warranty out of the water for the sake of a few extra bhp.
You'll find that she'll give many more 'sporty' cars a good run for the money anyway, due to the power delivery combined with saloon car handling.

But each to their own eh :-)

Enjoy
