fone + cradle combo

Post by nujon » Fri Feb 11, 2011 6:22 pm

Can anyone recommend a basic fone which will work 100% with the X5 b/tooth - and for which a BMW cradle or quality aftermarket unit is available?

(Foolishly got a Nokia 5800 on 2 year contract 18 months ago - will not pair with the X5)

Yes, got a cradle off eBay for 99p about a week ago, it took a couple of attempts to connect to the BMW Bluetooth module first time, but since then it has connected automatically everytime.

It's not 100% because you cannot send texts, but you can make and receive calls and transfer your address book.

Thanks Phill - I may be wrong but I understood you can only ever read texts from the H/Unit - not send 'em !

Nokia 6230i I think from memory, if you need a cradle for a 6230i I have one you can have for the price of postage. Phone it getting on a bit now though, but should get one off eBay. PM me if you need the cradle.

Lucky you - lovely over there - I'm the other side of Hardknott and Wrynose

Peter Kay is OK - but too PC - look at Don Rickles on youtube in the Vegas 'roasts' for a real laugh (don't make 'em like that anymore - 'an if they did, he'd be in jail!)
