Sounds like a stunning motor car. :driving:
Enjoy every moment over the next 48 hours or so. Hope it all goes well and if in any doubt about a single thing, make extensive use of that 3 year warranty! Afterall, we are talking the same price as a house in several parts of the country!!

PS: Out of interest what kind of discount can be expected on such a beast at the moment? :?

Thank you all for the warm welcome :)

@ Brewer, With regards to your question about discount I think it depends on where you are in the country, but from what I've read on here it's between 8 and 12%. Maybe the more you spend the bigger the discount????

So excited can't sleep but a girl doesn't want to go picking up a car like this looking like a dogs dinner so I best try at least!! :hairdryer:

Nah, sorry X5Trace, don't like it, far to new and shiny to be there, the best thing for it is for you to give it to me and I'll keep it polished, garaged and safe. I would send you photo's of it too.....

Seriously though, beautiful looking car you have there. Well done and enjoy her.

Thanks for your comments :D

The car is beyond my expectations, so glad I ordered the 40d!! I found it very hard to drag myself out of it but you gotta eat and I wasn't gonna mess my car up! :driving:

So glad I went for the comfort seats I think they are well worth the money :)

Reversing & side cameras very impressed with. 8-)

I have been going through all the idrive set up tonight and found a auxillary heating timer which I have set for 7 in the morning. Don't know whether you guys have used this option, i don't know how warm it's gonna get but we shall see!

Seriously though I am one chuffed chick to be driving this car. My other half has now got itchy feet to change his I said go for an X6! What u think!

Another Cheshire X owner (Alpine white is becoming the county's colour I think!) and someone else who also owned an Evo VI around the time I had mine (though a lowly GSR spec in silver). It's a small world. I am also pretty sure I recognise the spot you are parked in there; Mobberly/Alderley area maybe? Anyway no matter it all looks the same round here LOL. I have an X6 40d with a load of toys and usually only me and the golf clubs in it, and find it's equal as sporty a drive as the 535d I had before, and I love the muscular looks (ooeer missus) so if that fits the bill with your other half then go for it. If you are close enough to aforementioned area then PM me and I could always look to whizz somewhere nearby for you to have a gander. Though be warned, I have some Hamann Evo rear spoilers which are not everyone's cup of tea ;-)
