Can't speak about Dunlops but I had a set of run flat Bridgestone Duellers on 19" offset wheels - they did 33K miles before needing replacement - that's 10k more than all the Continentals and, most recently, Good Years I've had over 161k miles. In order of long life, Bridgestones come out well on top, with Continentals trailing and Good Years behind them. Based on my experience I'd go for Bridgestones next as they give better pence per mile. It's a toss up between the other two but the Good Years are way cheaper!

Iv hated bridgestones on all my other cars but its usually because their sports cars and the hard tyre makes them feel very slippy. Not sure what they would be like on the X5 but I wont risk it again. Looking at getting kumho tyres shortly as they look a go trade off between price and performance. Anyone tried these before?

I've had 2 set of Dunlops and now on my third set of Bridgestone.
I get 15/20% more miles out of the Bridgestone and they feel slightly better on the road.
20" staggered setup 40d.

For the price of the transfer box quoted above, you’d need to go through a few sets of cheaper tyres before you recoup the cost of replacing the box.

I don’t think I’d be risking it myself for so little gain.
