Bluetooth gone crazy after upgrade!

Hi,
I recently had my ULF-SBX-H and TCU/ULF module upgraded on my 08 E70 to better support the iPhone. After the initial software upgrade I lost my USB socket but the bluetooth was working great. After a new piece of software from Autologic, my technician was able to get the USB socket working again with my Ipod but then the bluetooth kept crashing the Bluetooth stack on my iPhone. The cause of the problem was that the Bluetooth name for the device changed from BMW 11795 to BMW ????? - this seems to really upset the iPhone. I've managed to pair with a Blackberry no problem which doesn't seem to be that bothered by the question marks. My technician has been back and forth reprogramming both modules and coding them to the car - but no joy. Has anyone seen this before and potentially has a fix?
Thanks, Jason
