Sounds like a big job, I'll wait till I see the night pic before I make my mind up about fitting one

Night pic is black and white, more pixelated but you can see things. It does get thrown off if you get a bit of light in the pic, then you get a huge blur of white before the camera tries to re-adjust.

Still better than not having one.

yeh alot of work but worth it, i spent Â£12 camera, Â£2 relay, Â£4 on wire, 12 hours labour @ free, also where i located mine was new teratory so i had no instructions and it took abit of doing also if i used scotch locks and not solder no heats shrink and lashed it in i could have done it quicker but i was steady too like tea every half hour, but it must add a small amount on resale and also its the little things that make a car stand out when your selling it on

Another mod I am considering. Trouble is, I too like to spend time making a reasonable job with the wiring and would prob take me 2 days to fit lol.
Do they make tiny 0 lux cameras with wipers on? I know the back of my X is the first place for dirt to land

Thought i'd post up a couple of pics of my camera install,managed to complete it in about half a day.The camera is an Ebay jobbie and is as small as i could possibly find so as to look OEM and very discreet.Its a PAL camera but with the help of Resler & Navcoder this wasn't a problem.

I've bought a second cam how could I get it working on the caravan all fitted on on car is fine , was thinking the reverse lights don't work when caravan plugged in ?? Was hoping get the feed from caravan reverse light ??
