My diesel is on 162.800 and never uses any oil.

On the e53 it has 2 motors and i would think yours is the same.
The fold part failed on mine but i can still adjust it.
Could be the switch panel on the drivers door with both actions not working.
I would pull it and give it a spray of switch/contact cleaner first.

95 or 100 will be ok as long as it fits.
BMW fit the smaller one but i would get the exact same as is fitted now.

Problems / Injector leak off pipe
« on: April 13, 2018, 08:36:31 AM »
I had a small leak on one of the injector leak off pipes so i ordered some new pipe.
Went to change it today and the new pipe leaks as well.
It is 3/8 pipe a standard size i thought but it was weeping where it pushes onto the injector.
All i had to do the job now was some silicone pipe thick stuff but a nice fit and no leaks.
My question is.
Is this silicone vac pipe ok to use on the injectors ?.
Anybody got a link to some normal pipe slightly smaller than 3/8 if that is possible.

BMW recommend star marked tyres as the rolling circumference is the same.
None star marked might differ a bit and wind the diff up.

General X5 Forum (E53) / Cluster swap mileage wrong
« on: April 11, 2018, 08:09:41 PM »
I have changed the cluster in my car.
And with some info off the net and PA-Soft 1.4 i have got rid of the tamper dot by changing the vin but i can't correct the mileage.
I need to add a few K to the new cluster 9751km to be exact.
Any help on this would be very welcome.
Old cluster.

New cluster.

Not a lot in it but would just like it the same.
Just noticed that the old cluster is showing all lit up pixels that is a first i think lol that is the reason i changed it and new cluster was only £35 delivered.

Check all plugs on the engine and intake.
There is one at the back end of the fuel rail make sure it is on properly.

I remember seeing something on another forum about the HID problem in normal headlights and there is an alternative bulb H7r that will give a pattern instead of just a glare.
