The car is going in for a recall to get the drivers air bag replaced and they said they would check ...

I was hoping to do this myself when the weather gets a bit warmer. Did my sons 3 series washer filter a couple of years ...

First real fault problem in 5 years!
Had the same messages some time ago and it was after hitting a big pot hole. Moved the wires on the sensors near the fromt wheels from the ABS, pad wear sensors and faults cleared. Had car checked out by indy and they found no faults. Happened some time later after going over more very rough ground....

"Windy Guns"
I have an air compressor that I tried with a windy gun to remove bolts and I chewed a few (on my wifes Ford) so I won't use it on the BMW. It's als a bit of an ordeal getting to the compressor and the hose and gun. I have lookes at the electric impact wrench but as there are so many on the market an...

Penalty for an infringement?
Hope everything goes well for you and the Chief of Police is lenient. Does sound a bit over the top for a minor offence.

Folding mirrors on locking.?
Have you tried pressing and holding down the lock button on the key fob for a couple of seconds? If the mirrors fold in then your car has this function if not, it will need coding in, possibly by a dealer or indy.
