Electronic Damper Control

Post by StuBeeDoo » Mon May 07, 2018 1:31 pm

In the course of my hunt for an F25, I have yet to see an LCI 30d that doesn't have EDC fitted.

Did LCI all 30d cars come with EDC as standard?

TIA
Stuart.

As far as I know from reviewing the price lists, variable damper control is a £650 or £940 option depending on the starting specification and strangely very rare and sought after on the 2nd hand market.  It was on my must have list and thankfully I found one (having recently missed out on an ultra high spec car that had it).

Hi guys i have a F25 with RFT and was wondering if there is a retrofit for the dampers. I love the car but it really rattles you about on uneven roads. The car will be out of warranty in December with only 15k on the clock and will be exploring the possibility of getting non RFT when the time comes and thought if there was a way to make the ride softer that would be great. my model is X3 F25 2.0 M Sport.
any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Fred

Have a look at Realoem on line.  It’s a copy of the BMW Parts system and kept up to date.  The last 7 characters of your VINin the ‘serial number’ box will pull up the correct car model.  Check in the ‘Retrofitting’ section for an official kit from BMW  :)

Thanks for the advice it was really appreciated. I had a good look on Realoem without any success.
I would think there must be some company in the UK do this kind of thing I'll just have to keep looking.
thanks again
